Photo-Prep Package:  Room by Room can be available to address any of the market-ready recommendations you don't have the time or inclination to complete.  Time in the home will

Vacant Staging

Craving a new look using what you already own?
Ready for a room refresher or makeover?
Wondering if a different layout could work better for how your family really lives?
Finally time to recover that old sofa?  Or change that wall color?
Need help with downsizing decisions?
Not sure what to do with those family pieces you inherited?

Most decorating and redesign projects involve a layering of decisions, priorities and costs.
At Room by Room our goal is to help take the guesswork out of the process by helping you see what's possible.

We help you visualize how a room might come together, recommend sources for furnishings, lighting and accessories, and shop either with you or for you.  We also have relationships with local workrooms, trades and suppliers to share.

Projects are quoted by the job or by the hour, depending on which approach is most cost-effective.

Thank you for the staging. It was the reason for our home selling on the first day open with two competing offers above listed price - something we never expected in this market!

 Staging & Design

I want to thank you for the excellent and amazing job you did on my new listing in Great Falls.  In just two days, you transformed the house to look like a model home!  In addition to your fine work, the homeowner and I found it to be such a pleasure working with you.

 Occupied Staging

In a market that demands "move-in ready," staging is key to selling vacant homes.  That's because today's buyers don't view empty rooms as a blank slate of possibilities, but instead as a nagging list of questions and uncertainty.

  • will their sectional fit?  . . . where will the TV go? . . . will a table for 6 work in the kitchen?
  • can they put a King bed in the master?  . . .  is that room always so dark? . . .

At a minimum, vacant rooms require buyers to work a lot harder to "see" if your home could meet their needs. And that puts you at a clear competitive disadvantage compared to staged comps.

It's for these very reasons that Room by Room has invested in a diverse inventory of on-trend, designer-quality furniture, artwork, lighting, textiles and accessories to transform vacant listings. Our design plans are customized to deliver a look and layout tailored to your home's target buyer.

In addition, to maximize the return on your vacant staging investment our client commitment extends beyond completion of the staging installation.  We will, schedule permitting,

  • participate in the photo-shoot, brokers' open and other key marketing events,
  • conduct periodic "site checks" between "staged" and "sold," and
  • promote your listing on social media.

Room by Room provides free quotes for Vacant Staging Packages. We're available to work with you before you choose a realtor or after you've signed with an agent, before your home is listed or after it's been on the market.

McNair has an aesthetic that my husband and I loved. She helped stage our house for sale and was able to come in and provide valuable advice, and at the same time be very respectful of what we already had, melding her items with ours effortlessly.
